Today was a sad day at our house. We lost our dog Maggie this morning. She was almost 13. The kids all had a chance to say goodbye to her. Lots of tears, but they are all taking it well. The vet gave us a great book about Doggie Heaven. They are all drawing pictures for her now.

I'm so sorry that you lost Maggie. It was wonderful that you got to say good-bye and everyone shared their feelings together. I'm sure Maggie will be missed terribly...
