We didn't even have to teach him how!! I noticed he wasn't really riding on the training wheels so I asked him if he wanted me to take one training wheel off and he told me to take them both off. I did. I put him on the bike and he rode away on the first try, just like that!!! No coaching. I never even had to hold the seat. He keeps asking when he can race.
